Artistic Director Jordan Fuller has worked with children and youth across Canada teaching in various cities throughout Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. She brings over 18 years of teaching experience to Calgary West Dance Academy with a passion for movement and education.

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance from Ryerson University. As a student she trained in Vaganova and Cecchetti Ballet Techniques and has completed her Elementary and Intermediate Ballet exams with the Society of Russian Ballet. She is currently an Associate Teacher with the Society of Russian Ballet and a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. Her past training includes study in the styles of Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre, Voice and Drama. 

Jordan has had the opportunity to train under acclaimed dance professionals including Nadia Potts (former National Ballet of Canada Ballerina), Vicki St. Denys, Karen Duplisea, Kenny Pearl and Bakari Lindsay while in pursuit of a Performance Dance degree at Ryerson University's prestigious training program in Toronto. She has performed professionally and continues to further her training and expertise in this constantly evolving industry. 


Jordan is excited to bring the program at Calgary West Dance Academy to life and to share her experience, expertise and passion for dance with the next generation. Jordan believes that dance is a gift which when taught correctly becomes a beautiful form of expression. Dance is more than athleticism and grace it is an elite form of artistry and communication.

Miss Dehla- Dance Educator Jazz, Acro & Preschool Dance

Dehla holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Dance from the University of Calgary. She is also an Acrobatic Arts certified Instructor. Dehla has trained for over 20 years with a background in  Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Voice, Tap, Hip Hop and Acrobatic Arts. She has completed her vocational Ballet examinations through the Royal Academy of Dance, as well as  A.D.A.P.T. and AL Gilbert examinations in Jazz and Tap. Dehla has attended dance conventions and workshops in Edmonton, Calgary, New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. She has trained with the New York City Rockettes, Dana Moore (from the musical “Chicago”), The Lion King cast and many more! She has performed on Carnival cruise lines and in Disneyland. Miss Dehla brings humor, excitement and hard work to her classroom. She is well loved by her students and her bubbly personality motivates all to do their best.

Miss Anastacia- Dance Educator Ballet & Preschool Dance

Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, Anastacia grew up attending the School of Alberta Ballet and trained there professionally for 15 years. Anastacia has diligently studied the Cecchetti method of Ballet and has obtained her Advanced 2 Examination. She has completed additional training in the Vagonova style of Ballet, classical repertoire, contemporary, modern, character dance and jazz styles. She is currently pursuing a double Bachelor degree in Dance/Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and has recently obtained a Massage Therapy Certificate from Mount Royal University. She has had the opportunity to perform at the Jubilee Auditorium with Alberta Ballet in productions including the Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night Dream, and as an understudy in Madame Butterfly. Anastacia is very excited to bring her passion for all dance, injury prevention and safe training to Calgary West Dance Academy.​

Miss Alena- Dance Educator Jazz, Tap & Acro

Alena grew up as a daughter of a dance studio director, and has therefore been immersed in the dance world from a young age. Alena is a graduated Occupational and Physical Therapy Assistant with a knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the body in relation to it's movement abilities and patterns. She continues to train and seek educational opportunities pertaining to both careers. Alena is a certified Acrobatic Arts Level 1 instructor, a Rhythm Works instructor, and Tap/Jazz ADAPT instructor. She has trained in all styles of dance, but is most passionate about tap, contemporary and musical theatre. Alena recently studied music theory, tap history and improvisation in "The Next Steps" professional development program. Over the years, she has had opportunity to travel to New York, L.A., and Arizona for additional conventions and workshops. Alena has also performed aboard Carnival Cruise Lines, and at resorts in both the Dominican Republic and Mexico. Alena enjoys working with all ages and abilities, and is a motivating mentor to her students. She continually encourages her students to reach their personal potential. Alena believes in supporting her students with proper technique and training all while using imagination, creativity and humour within the classroom. 

Miss Sabina- Dance Educator Ballet & Progressing Ballet Technique

Sabina was born and raised in Kazakhstan and received most of her dance education there. Sabina began training in Vaganova Ballet at a young age and in her teen years expanded her dance training to include Folk dancing, Hip Hop and Irish dancing. Sabina took the time to complete her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in English Philology and Translation Theory. After completion of her Masters Degree she dedicated her time to teaching academics at a university and schools in Kazakhstan. After moving to Turkey she continued to dance in a contemporary company to maintain her dance training and performance career. In 2013 Sabina immigrated to Canada. Since coming to Canada Sabina has continued to develop her Ballet education by joining the Jeunesse Classique Ballet Society. She continues to train weekly and perform in productions with the company. Her Past performances include roles in The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia

Sabina has also completed her Yoga Teacher certification with Sunshine Yoga and shares her love of movement with the community by teaching Yoga throughout Calgary. Sabina is very excited to bring her expertise of Vaganova Ballet technique to CWDA and looks forward to sharing her love of Ballet with the children. 

Mr. Andrew- Dance Educator Hip Hop & Creative Kids Theatre Director

Andrew is a choreographer, dance instructor, and theatre director. He holds his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Thompson Rivers University and is the recipient of the Kamloops Mayor’s Emerging Artist Award. He began his dance career at the age of 16 by taking a Hip Hop class at Just For Kicks Dance Studio in Salmon Arm, BC. After this an immediate love for dance was born and he soon began training in as many different styles as he could. He completed further dance training at Dalhousie University in Halifax and has taught dance at Salmon Arm Secondary School, Just for Kicks Dance Studio, Sistas Love to Dance Studio, Brocklehurst Middle School and The Academy of Dance in Kamloops, winning multiple awards for Outstanding Choreography with the competition team of the latter. As a freelance choreographer, his work has been seen on the stages of Western Canada Theatre, Project X Theatre, the Actors Workshop Theatre,
Chimera Theatre, and the Stage One Theatre School. In his own artistic practise, Andrew’s focus is on the creation of new works of theatre and dance with a particular focus on interdisciplinary art and storytelling through non-verbal mediums such as movement, puppetry, mask and staged combat. Andrew is a lover of astronomy and animals and is grateful to have the opportunity to share his passion for dance with his students in Calgary.

Miss Jordan- Musical Director Creative Kids Theatre

Jordan began her music studies at Mount Royal Conservatory at the age of 6 where she studied under the direction of Thomas Megee for 14 years. She was accepted as member of the prestigious Mount Royal Academy of Music for gifted students and participated in the youth orchestra for 10 years. Jordan has competed in numerous music competitions and won several awards including provincial awards at Kiwanis Music Festivals. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a double major in Cello and Voice from Brigham Young University. While at BYU Jordan completed music training in Piano proficiency and conducting and was the first Chair of the Orchestra. She was a featured vocal and cello soloist on several European tours. Wishing to instill a love of music in children Jordan created her own music studio, For The Love of Music, and has taught piano, voice and cello privately for over 17 years. Jordan is also co founder and conductor of a Cochrane based youth orchestra called Noteables. Jordan continues to own her love of music by performing as a vocal soloist at a variety of venues. One of the joys in her life is her participation in the string ensemble Dolce, Dolce gives back to the community each Christmas by giving a free family concert featuring their ensemble as well as vocal numbers and featured guests. Jordan is so thrilled to be a part of Creative Kids Theatre at CWDA this fall.

Miss Trisha- Musical Director Creative Kids Theatre

Trisha Allred is a graduate of Brigham Young University School of Music Education with a Choral
Emphasis. While at BYU Trisha won multiple awards in vocal performance in the NATS competitions. Her degree included classical vocal training along with music education courses in kodi training, the dalcrose method, the orff method and advanced music theory. While at BYU Trisha received advanced conducting training for choral and instrumental conducting. Trisha has played the violin for 25 years and is currently a member of the string ensemble Dolce which has performed at events such as the Violins and Vehicles Gala, The Pride and Prejudice Ball and CADS Gala. She was concertmistress of the Lone Peak Orchestra and the violin section leader of the Timpanogos Chamber Orchestra. Trisha is co-founder and conductor of a Cochrane based youth based orchestra called Noteables. Being able to create an environment for students to make music together has been a highlight of her life and is excited to be a part of the new Creative Kids Theatre Program at CWDA. Trisha also operates a private music studio where she teaches students of all ages violin and voice. Trisha's greatest joy is teaching music to students of all ages and passing on her love of music and knowledge onto them. Trisha lives in Cochrane with her four small children who are the light of her life and she is so grateful for a supportive husband and family.
